Predicament

I'm not sure thats how you spell it, but anyways. I have a problem with the london gigs (both dates which I have already booked VIP tickets for!!) :x

The problem is I have completely run out of money (as I am a student) and i cannot afford to book a hotel, and the problem is I will be going to London from Norwich on my own ( I dont want to travel back to Norwich late at night) and i'm abit anxious about it. So I was wondering is there anyway I could get a refund, or sell on my two places? :cussing:

The other problem is because I have been a very bad student (missed loads of lectures/seminars) I am incredibly behind and I believe going to the concerts will set me back even further!!

Thankfully I have a ticket for Ipswich which I can make (as thats only a short distance from Norwich)so I wont be missing out completely and I would love to meet up with anyone that is going!

I really need help with sorting this out, so if anyone reading this is interested in buying my VIP passes for either nights or has any information that may be of use PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get in contact with me or reply to this message!

Thats a real shame Ruth. :( You could try emailing the fan club, they might be able to give you a refund, or you sell them on the fan club board, I know that somebody did sell one of their VIP packages on there.

I'll be going to Ipswich so hopefully will see you there. :)

I would love to buy the wednesday ticket off you but as a struggling former student I can't justify spending that much on on a concert (am also attempting to save to go bk to new york next year for fun and thrills!)

have you looked into hostel accomodation? i know with yha you have to be a member (would highly reccommend their oxford st place) but there are others around the city where you don't need membership. eg the St Christophers group


I take it you're at UEA? i was there for the Zutons gig last month! your SU bar is pretty cool tho has a highly slippery floor when its been raining outside!

I would firstly have a go contacting the company you bought the tickets from and speak to them and see if you can transfer the name of the person on the ticket and if you can then I would try selling on ebay at a reduced rate and post everywhere you can offering the ticket.

Yeah, I'd say it's important you contact the sellers first since the tickets have to be collected at the VIP reception, obviously if the booking was in your name it could cause problems for the person who bought them...
Hope you can do something about it....

I've decided i'm going to go to the wednesday one as I have a seminar -9am-10am but after that I am free (I have thursdays off) so I am either going to stay in a hostel or hotel for the night (hostel is cheaper). 8)

I'm still going to see if I can sell Tuesdays ticket, as I really need to attend Wednesdays seminar, I havent had a reply from the VIP e-mail address, so I may try selling it on E-bay. If i dont manage to sort it out I guess its my own fault!:roll:
Anyways I really hope to meet some of you on Wed (I will be attending the soundcheck on Tuesday but that wont finish late will it?) and when I go to Ipswich and thanks for posting your advice, information etc.

This board really is like a family!!!! :D
